Accurate, Reliable, and Convenient At-Home Drug Testing

The MBTest Simple Urine Self-Testing Kit is a user-friendly diagnostic tool designed to provide preliminary screening for Marijuana THC Parent (Tetrahydrocannabinol) presence. This urine-based test offers up to 99% accuracy and delivers results within five minutes, enabling users to conduct drug testing in a private, convenient manner.

The MBTest kit provides a qualitative preliminary result. For confirmation, further laboratory-based analytical testing is required.

Description

THC (9-tetrahydrocannabinol) is the primary active ingredient in cannabinoids (Marijuana). When smoked or orally administered, it produces euphoric effects. Users have impaired short term memory and slowedlearning. Users may also experience transient episodes of confusion and anxiety. Long term relatively heavy use may be associated with behavioraldisorders. The peak effect of smoking Marijuana occurs in 20-30 minutes andthe duration is 90-120 minutes after one cigarette. Elevated levels of urinarymetabolites are found within hours of exposure and remain detectable for3-10 days after smoking. The main metabolite excreted in the urine is11-nor-9-tetrahydrocannabinol-9-carboxylic acid (9-THC-COOH).The THC Rapid Test Cassette is a rapid urine screening test that can beperformed without the use of an instrument. The test utilizes a monoclonalantibody to selectively detect elevated levels of Marijuana in urine. The THCRapid Test Cassette yields a positive result when the concentration ofMarijuana in urine exceeds 50 ng/mL. This is the suggested screening cut-offfor positive specimens set by the Substance Abuse and Mental HealthServices Administration (SAMHSA, USA).

Precautions

Storage Conditions
Maintain at temperatures ranging from 2°C to 30°C.

Expiry Warning
Do not use the test kit beyond its expiry date.

Sealed Protection
Keep the test cassette sealed until ready for use.

Adulteration Risk
The presence of adulterants (e.g., bleach or alum) in urine samples may lead to inaccurate results.

Result Interpretation Limitations

  • A positive result confirms the presence of THC or its metabolites but does not indicate intoxication level, method of administration, or exact concentration in urine.
  • A negative result does not necessarily confirm that a person is drug-free, as substances may still be present below the detection threshold.
  • This test does not differentiate between illicit substances and certain prescription medications.

Directions for Use

Specimen Collection and Preparation

  • Collect a fresh urine sample in a clean, dry container.
  • Urine may be collected at any time of the day for testing purposes.

Testing Procedure

  1. Allow the test cassette, urine specimen, and controls to reach room temperature before conducting the test.
  2. Place the test cassette on a clean, flat surface.
  3. Using the provided dropper, carefully transfer three (3) full drops of urine into the specimen well. Start the timer immediately.
  4. Ensure no air bubbles are present in the specimen well. Keep the cassette on a flat, non-absorbent surface while awaiting results.
  5. Read and interpret the results exactly five minutes after initiating the test. Results should not be interpreted after ten (10) minutes.

Result Interpretation

  • Negative Result: Two lines appear—one in the control (C) region and one in the test (T) region. This indicates that THC levels are below 50 ng/mL.
Note: The intensity of the red or pink coloration in the test (T) region may vary, but the presence of any visible line in this region should be interpreted as a negative result.
  • Positive Result: One red line appears in the control (C) region, while no line appears in the test (T) region. This indicates that THC levels exceed the detectable threshold of 50 ng/mL.
  • Invalid Result: If the control (C) line fails to appear, the test has not functioned correctly. This may be due to insufficient specimen volume or procedural errors. In such cases:
  • Review the instructions and repeat the test using a new test cassette.
  • If repeated tests yield invalid results, discontinue use and contact the supplier immediately.

FAQs

How do I know if the Test worked well?

When the control line(C) appears, it means that the test unit is working well.

How soon can I read my results?

You can read your results at 5 minutes as long as a red line or pink colored line has appeared next to the Control region(C), do not read results after 10 minutes.

When is the best time to run the test?

You can run the test at any time of the day.

How to read the test if the color and the intensity of the lines are different?

The color and intensity of the lines have no importance for result interpretation. The test should be considered as negative whatever the color intensity of the test line (T) is.

What Is A False Positive Test?

A false positive test result means the drug is not present but shows detected by the device. The most common causes of a false positive test are cross reactants.

What Is A False Negative Test?

A false negative test means the drug is present but is not detected by the device. If the sample is dil
